SIKKIM, DARJEELING [7 NIGHTS / 8 DAYS] :

Day 1 ( 22/12/2018 – Sat) ARRIVAL NJP RAILWAY STATION / (IXB) BAGDOGRA AIRPORT – DARJEELING

On arrival at NJP Railway Station / (IXB) Bagdogra Airport (500Ft / 150Mts), you will be met by our office Executive who will assist you to board your vehicle to Darjeeling (7380 Ft / 2250 Mts, 96 Kms / 3 Hrs) Check in hotel for night stay.

Day 2 ( 23/12/2018 – Sun) DARJEELING SIGHTSEEING

Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (8364 Ft / 2550 Mts at around 4 AM) to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather). On way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop. After breakfast go for a half-day sightseeing of Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & Tea Estate and Ropeway. free for overnight.

Day 3 ( 24/12/2018 – Mon) EXCURSION TO MIRIK

Early morning breakfast – Next start for the 32 kilometers drive via Nepal border to Mirik – It’s a two hours drive – Mirik is a quiet town between Siliguri and Darjeeling – It is known for its secluded charm, Beautiful Tea Gardens, Samendu Lake, Orange Orchards, Cardamom Plantation and its pleasant Climate – The drive is scenic and so is the place both attracts tourist in hordes – Halt at Seemana for view for viewing of Mount Kanchendzonga – Activity like boating in the lake is also in the card for guest – On the way visit Pashupati Market in Nepal – Drive back to Darjeeling nearly 32 kilometers and 1 ½ – 2 hour’s drive – Back to Hotel – Late evening free to stroll around Mall or visit some of the pub, Eateries, studio or bakery with cafeteria – Night halt at Darjeeling.

Day 4 ( 25/12/2018 – Tue) DARJEELING – GANGTOK

After breakfast transfer to Gangtok (5500 Ft /1677 Mts, 110 Kms / 04 Hrs). Check in and Over night at Hotel. (free to explore M.G Marg for shopping.)

Day 5 ( 26/12/2018 – Wed) EXCURSION TO TSOMGO LAKE & NEW BABA MANDIR (NATHULA PASS OPTIONAL TOUR)

After breakfast, in the morning, start for excursion to Tsomgo Lake – situated at a height of 12400Ft / 3780 Mts / 43Kms in 3Hrs one way, with an average depth of 50 ft. The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around and Baba Harbajan Mandir (Holly Temple). Back to Gangtok and Overnight at Hotel.

Day 6 ( 27/12/2018 – Thu) GANGTOK TO NAMCHI

After breakfast proceed to Namchi, it is situated about 78 km from Gangtok and is famous for its Buddhist monastery and scenic locales. Offering panoramic views of the mountain ranges and the valley below, it lies at about 1,675 m above mean sea level. Literally translating to ‘top of the sky’ in Bhutia language, Namchi is the headquarters of the south district of Sikkim in North East India and is the second most populated district of the state. Predominantly Buddhist,the Shedrup Choeling Monastery, the Dichen Choeling monastery and the Ngadak monastery are among the many monasteries in the region In Namchi visit Siddheswar Dham, Samdruptse, It is the tallest statue in the world at 135 feet. Guru Padmasambhava is also known as Rinpoche. The place is also known as ‘wish fulfilling hill’ or Samdruptse. The spot is also famous for its scenic views and hence is a famous sightseeing spot “patron saint of sikkim” and Back to Gangtok Hotel by evening.

Day 7 ( 28/12/2018 – Fri) GANGTOK SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast visit to Gangtok sightseeing covering Ranka Monastery, Ban Jhakri Water Falls along with Droul Chorthen, Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (Closed on Sunday), Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Tashi View Point, Flower Show & free over night at Gangtok hotel.

Day 8 ( 29/12/2018 – Sat) GANGTOK – NJP RAILWAY STATION / IXB BAGDOGRA AIRPORT

After breakfast proceed to NJP Railway Station / (IXB) Bagdogra Airport (136 Kms / 04 & half Hrs) for your onward connection / journey.
